Unfortunately Storm Darragh prevented the last event of the WMCCL series from taking place. This would have been a joint Beacon RCC/Stourbridge CC effort but the safety of the volunteers, riders, state of the arena, signing on all contributed to the decision to cancel. Disappointing: some of our riders flourish in bad weather and there may have been changes in overall league positions, but it wasn’t to be.

Notable league results: Tom Payton 2nd senior, Kevin Payton 4th V60, Jo Acha 2nd LV55, Isla Rowntree 3rd LV55.

SCC fielded 14 different riders during the season ( an increase over previous post-pandemic years) and finished 6th in the league, out of 34 teams/clubs.

Some new jerseys to commemorate 60 years of SCC! Orders are now closed but we hope to see many of these on the roads in 2025.

In October 2024, Stourbridge Cycling Club were 60 years old and to celebrate we had several rides, all coming together at The Bell at Trysull where we had food and drink! Around 90 people attended.
