AGM News

Following the AGM last night, we have a new committee.  It does bare a striking similarity to last year’s committee, but we have got a new web page with photos so you can recognise the committee whilst out on rides.

Mountain Bike Basic Skills Training

Have a mountain bike but new to the sport and don’t know where to start? Are you interested in off-road cycling but a bit nervous? Would you like to learn some MTB cycling skills?

We are running a free basic MTB cycling skills courses in April.

The 3 part course is  being held at  Wollescote Park, Stourbridge, on Saturday 14th, 21st and 28th April 2018 at 2-4pm

All you need is a bike and helmet and be available to attend all 3 Saturday sessions.

Road Skills Training

Have a road bike but new to the sport and don’t know where to start? Are you interested in road cycling but a bit nervous to attempt the roads yet? Would you like to learn some road cycling skills?

We are running a free basic road cycling skills courses in April.

They are being held at  Stourport cycling track on

  •  10am to 12pm on Sunday 8th, 15th and 22nd April 2018.

All you need is a bike and helmet and be available to attend all 3 sessions.

2nd place for SCC in West Midlands Cyclocross League

The West Midland Cyclocross League prize presentation was held on Friday night with Stourbridge Cycling Club coming away with plenty of silverware.

Congratulations to all of our riders who competed for the club over the season, to the pit crews who kept the bikes going and to those who came out and supported us. You all contributed to a fantastic 2nd place in the Senior team competition with ninety other clubs represented.
